On May 7 and 8, 2026, the project teams met for a two-day workshop at our project partner, the Weltkulturen Museum in Frankfurt. The workshop focused on the exhibition planned for the end of September 2027 to present key results from all three Subprojects at the same venue. Moderated and guided by the experienced host and curator Vanessa von Gliszczynski, the exhibition rooms were inspected on the first day and the team was then familiarized with the general requirements for the exhibition design. Once the initial shock of having to shorten the text for the exhibition had been overcome, the three project teams set to work on the (still) theoretical design of their respective rooms on the second day. During the final feedback round, it became clear that the exhibition had already taken on a fairly concrete form, at least in minds and notebooks. These plans are subsequently to be finalized at a further meeting in Frankfurt in November 2026.
