Prof. Dr. Ibrahima Wane

Ibrahima Wane is Professor of African Literature and Civilizations at UCAD in Dakar. He also lectures on the social history of music at the Higher Institute for Arts and Culture (HIAC) in Dakar. In addition, Wane is Director of Doctoral Research in African Studies at the UCAD Department of Arts and Humanities and First Vice-Chair of the Euro-African Network for Research on Oral Epics (REARE).
