Following the largely completed digitization phase, this workshop initiated the research phase of the project and primarily served to create synergies between the three subprojects. The invited international scholars Prof. Dr. Alena Rettov\u00e1 (University of Bayreuth), Prof. Dr. Christopher Y. Mtaku (University of Maiduguri), Prof. Dr. Ibrahima Wane (Cheikh Anta Diop University, Dakar) and Prof. Dr. L\u00e9on Tsambu (University of Kinshasa) enriched the workshop with stimulating presentations and great expertise. Guided tours \u2013 including through the fascinating collection of the AMA \u2013 provided additional impulses, and shared dinners contributed to further networking even after the conclusion of the workshop's formal program, especially for the research associates who had joined the project over the course of the year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
